Hazel Nelson Hinderaker

In Loving Memory 1932 - 2006

 

Hazel Patricia Andrene Hinderaker was born April 30, 1932 in Slayton, MN to Hans and Emma Nelson, and grew up north of Westbrook, MN. She attended Waldorf College in Forest City, IA. She married Ronald Hinderaker, on August 23 1951 and lived in Radcliffe, IA until they moved to Arvada, CO in 1957.

Balancing home and career, Hazel was employed by Coors and later, she and Ron began their own business, R & H Sales. This business gave both of them opportunities to mix business and travel.

Hazel also had many outside activities she enjoyed including golf, bowling, skiing, traveling and attending Bronco games. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church since 1958 and Sons of Norway Trolheim Lodge [Lodge 6-110 of Sons of Norway] since 1993. Her husband Ron served as Trollheim's Vice-President in 2005.

Hazel Hinderaker passed away on February 19, 2006. She leaves her husband, member Ron Hinderaker, one son Robert (and his wife Laura) and 2 daughters; Pattie (with husband Kent Cluck) and Mary (with her husband Mark Buchanan), six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She will be missed by many
