Ingebirt Erickson came to America in 1875. He arrived in Hamilton County, at his brother’s home, near Roland. 17 December 1880. Ingebirt married Carrie Isaacson, the daughter of Julie (Guro) Olen and Isaac Isaacson, who was born in Voss Parish, Hordaland County, Norway.

Erik Halldorsson and Brita Ingebriktsdtr lived at Gjerde Farm, Etne Parish, Hordaland County, Norway. Erik was from Roa Farm, Fjelberg Parish, Hordaland County. He was born in 1806 and died in 1884. Erik married Brita in 1839, Fjelberg Parish. Brita was from Oppheim Farm, Fjelberg Parish. She was born in 1820 and died in 1893.

Children from this marriage were:

i. Halldor was born in 1840 and died in 1871.
ii. Amund was born in 1843. He left for America and settled in Hamilton County, Iowa.
iii. Guro was born in 1846 and died in 1915.
iv. Ingebrikt was born in 1849. He left for America in 1875.
