The Ole Eittreim Family came to America in 1868. The family settled in the Radcliffe area.

Ole and Martha Eittreim lived in Lincoln Township, Hamilton County, Iowa. Ole, also known as Ola Olson, was the son of Ola Einarson and Guro Arnestdtr. He was born in 1841. Ole married Martha in 1867. Martha, also known as Marta Knudsdtr, was from Digernes Farm, Stord Parish, Hordaland County, Norway. She was born in 1845.

Children from this marriage were:

Knut. Knut was a professor at Decorah College.
Ole. Ole was a merchant in Ellsworth.
Julia was born in 1894 and died in 1949. She married A. B. Narland in 1908.

Ola Einarson and Guro Arnestdtr lived at Eitreheim Farm, Odda Parish, Hordaland County, Norway. Ola was the son of Einar Olson and Sigrid Oddmundsdtr. He was born in 1808. Ola married Guro in 1833. Guro was the daughter of Arne Ellingson and Ingebørg Sjursdtr. She was born in 1806 and died in 1857. (Ola next married Gyrid Endresdtr of Endna Farm. Ola and Gyrid came to America in 1867, at the same time as Ola’s son, Kristen.)

Children from this marriage were:

i. Einar was born in 1834. He left for America in 1865.
ii. Arne was born in 1835. He was a sailor who left Stavanger in 1883.
iii. Bård was born in 1837. He left for America in 1872 and farmed near Eagle Grove, Iowa.
iv. Ola was born in 1841. He left for America in 1868.
v. Oddmund was born in 1843. He left for America in 1883, accompanied by his brother Arne. He settled in Iowa.
vi. Daniel was born in 1845. He left for America in 1864 and settled in Price County, Wisconsin.
vii. Kristen was born in 1848. He left for America in 1867. In America, Kristen studied to be a minister and was called to Creston, Illinois.

Einar Olson and Sigrid Oddmundsdtr lived at Eitreheim Farm, Odda Parish, Hordaland County, Norway. Einar was the son of Ola Hallvardson and Marta Einarsdtr. He was born in 1776 and died in 1863. Einar married Sigrid in 1802. Sigrid was from Buer Farm, sub-farm 3, Odda Parish. She was born in 1781 and died in 1875.

Children from this marriage were:

i. Marta was born in 1802 and died in 1885.
ii. Ola was born in 1808.
iii. Oddmund was born in 1811 and died in 1904.
iv. Brita was born in 1813 and died in 1897.
v. Daniel was born in 1817 and died in 1907.
vi. Sigrid was born in 1822 and died in 1892.

Arne Ellingson and Ingebørg Sjursdtr lived Hjøllo Farm, Odda Parish, Hordaland County, Norway. Arne was the son of Elling Jørgenson and Anna Bastiansdtr. He was born in 1771 and died in 1841. Arne married Ingebørg in 1799. Ingebørg was born in 1773 and died in 1818.

Children from this marriage were:

i. Elling was born in 1802 and died in 1850.
ii. Guro was born in 1805 and died in 1857.
iii. Bård was born in 1812 and died in 1837.
